Why You Lose So Much In The Scratcher Lottery Tickets & How You Can Stop & Start To Win!

Friday, July 31st, 2009

First of all, check out this all TOO COMMON example that happens to 90% of people who are trying to win money in the scratchers lottery game.

You go into the convenience store to play the scratcher lottery ticket games. So you go, you buy scratchers, you scratch them, and find out they are losers!

So you are convinced that the next scratch off ticket you buy will be a big winner. So you repeat exactly what you did. You buy the scratchers, scratch them, and find out they are STILL losers!

Now, you are even MORE convinced that the next scratcher ticket has to be a BIG winner!

So you repeat the same steps and the next thing you know, you’ve been in the convenience store for the past 30 minutes trying to get a winner. And then, you look in your wallet and realize that all your money is completely gone! You have lost all that valuable cash to the convenience store.

You get frustrated and go home.

The next day, you do the same WHOLE thing over again.

Am I just joking about this? Absolutely not!

I have actually witnessed people go into the convenience store and stay even up to two hours as if it was a mini casino and play all day and end up losing WAY too much money.

So the question is why do almost 90% of people who play the scratchers lottery game play in this destructive losing way and can’t control their gambling? The ANSWER is because they do NOT know the single SECRET to minimizing their losses!

You have probably experienced this yourself. You go to the store and over and over again, you can’t seem to stop spending the money. So many times, you “feel lucky” but you aren’t lucky. So many times, you are convinced the next scratcher ticket is going to be a winner and it isn’t.

So what can you do to PREVENT losing too much and still get to enjoy having fun playing the scratchers game? The key SECRET so success is that you have to STOP making the rookie mistake that if you “feel lucky”, it will be a reason you should win. It is NOT!

The important key to know is that just because your emotions make you “feel lucky” doesn’t mean, your odds will better.

So the secret that 90% of scratcher players don’t follow is that you must stop listening to your “I feel lucky” emotions. Those emotions DO NOT signal that you will get a winner!

This sounds like common sense but 90% of people who play the games ALWAYS DO NOT follow this crucial rule. Until then be smart & play successfully by NOT following your emotions!

And remember, don’t follow the “I feel lucky″ emotions because 99% of the time, that FEELING is wrong!

Play responsibly and play to win for fun!

In the “How to Win Scratchers” system, Min reveals the secret tips to winning in the scratchers games from his experience as a convenience owner and from personally speaking to the lottery agents who know the INSIDE information the state lottery does not want you to know.

Hip Hop Pioneers Or Stepping Stones

Friday, July 31st, 2009

I can′t think of any industry where the pioneers are less regarded and disrespected then they are in the hip hop industry. In football names like John Madden, Joe Montana and Dan Marino are placed on pedestals and the players and coaches who come after them have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for them. In boxing which is one of the more violent sports, legends like Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard are adored by all. Maybe it’s a music thing? Nope, that’s not it either. If you look at the reception that the Rolling Stones or Paul McCartney receive at their concerts or the box office tally for the Johnny Cash and Ray Charles movies you would see that there is definitely a respect and demand for these legends.

There is a saying that goes “without those who came before us, we would not be able to accomplish what we do every day!” So why is it in the world of Hip Hop that if you came out during a certain time period or if you haven′t made an album in a while that you are considered a has-been. I know the demographic for hip hop fans falls into the generation x category who many people claim are the “what have you done for me lately” generation but that still doesn′t excuse this conduct. Not only are hip hop pioneers disregarded and unheralded they are often the target of the newer breed of hip hop artists. For some reason the artist in the hip hop industry feel threatened by their pioneers rather then fortunate. Instead of embracing these pioneers they often disrespect and denounce them. Yes, it may be true that past great hip hop artist have already had their time but I can′t understand how that in anyway infringes on the current hip hop star’s time. It seems the hip hop industry is in a state where their artist’s understand the quickest way to get a reputation is to try to discredit a previously established artists reputation. Unlike in sports, movies and other genres of the music industry where it is common place to have the proverbial torch handed to the next generation of starts, hip hop artists feel as though it is their duty to take that torch.

It is clear to see that the state that hip hop is currently in is that of a dog eat dog manner, but this doesn’t excuse the fact that these hip hop artist are turning their back on the ones who truly paved the way for them and can still be of great service. It is quite saddening to watch a pioneer attempt to make a comeback only to have their legs cut from underneath them by the very artists they indirectly helped create. The hip hop fans are so influenced by the new crop of hip hop artists that they themselves do not have the time of day for the pioneers who helped build this hip hop empire. Hopefully one day the true pioneers of hip hop will be rewarded and respected as they so obviously deserve.

“Can I help you?” – I say
Because it’s part of my job
Seated in front of me
He opens his gob
“What does this mean?”
He looks at me and asks
What I feel like saying is;
“That you’re a pain in the ass!”
But I don’t – I just smile
And say, “May I look?”
I glance at his letter
I’d have rather read a book
“I’ll just get your papers”
I get up to go
Things that we do
To earn us some dough!
Whilst retaining my seat
I look at his file
Where do I begin?
I start with a smile
“Well, it’s like this”
Is how I begin
Why is his face
Covered in that big grin?
Is he sucking a lemon?
Or maybe a lime
He says, “I understand
I’m just wasting your time!”

Horse Racing Systems: The Key Factors For Success

Friday, July 31st, 2009

Horse racing is one of the most popular gambling pursuits of all time.
The “Sport of Kings” is followed passionately by people from all over the world
wagering fortunes on their individual horse racing system.

In order to be successful with any horse racing system there are a number
of critical factors which should be studied in order to give your
horse racing system or betting system a higher percentage chance of success.

Fitness, studying the current form of a racehorse is the best way to gauge this,
new gamblers should certainly only pick well established runners and avoid the
two year olds until they gain experience.

Track conditions, pay attention to track conditions, whether the ground is hard or heavy,
it is extremely important to give this a priority in any horse racing system that you follow.
Track conditions can either enhance or reduce a horse’s performance, a horse’s form can usually
be produced on good ground so caution if the going is otherwise.

Distance, it’s important to look for horses with proven ability over their optimum
distance, this does not necessarily mean a winning finish every time but a consistently
good finish at similar distances.

The racecourse itself, all racecourses are different and this will have a bearing on how
a horse performs. Take time to study individual tracks with your own horse racing system,
does you horse perform better on long straight stretches or those tight twisting circuits,
keep a log of performance and preferences.

Trainers, learn what you can about individual trainers by studying race commentaries
in various form books and by watching as much of the race as you can, this will enable
you to identify which types of races certain trainers excel in.

Jockeys, jockeys can not make winners out of unsuitable or incapable horses, but poor
riding can make losers out of racing certainties. Make a note of the amateurs and apprentice
riders in order to identify next seasons winning jockeys.
Other notable factors include the draw, the type of race and of course key races or classic
races.

Next time you invest in a horse racing system take into consideration some of the key factors
I have motioned and put them to use in your strategy they should form the basis for more successful results.

Finland Casinos

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Tucked into the beautiful Scandinavian landscape is the beautiful nation of Finland. With its majestic natural beauty, wonderful culture, and carefree social style, Finland is a great place for tourists to go on their annual family vacation. One of the best parts of Finland is its vibrant nightlife and great entertainment facilities, especially dance clubs, bars, and casinos. Finland’s casinos are great places to do some people watching, enjoy delicious finger foods, and make a little money, while having fun gambling. Finland has two major casinos that offer hundreds of gaming tables and great experiences for any tourist who comes through their doors.

In the Finnish capital city of Helsinki, there is a casino called the Grand Casino Helsinki that is a hot spot for the young professional crowd and groups of friends visiting from places near and far. For those who want to enjoy the nightlife from the Grand Casino, they can go to Lucky 7As, a sleek bar that attracts young people like moths to the flame. From the bar and the dining experience, visitors can go to the spacious 29,000 square foot gaming area. Gamblers can try their hand at the highly popular Texas Hold ‘Em poker or with a more classic game like blackjack and roulette. They can also step away from the gaming table to try their hand at one of the more than three hundred slot machines that can pay out big at any moment. For visitors in Helsinki, the Grand Casino is a nice distraction or place to waste some time after a long day of vacation tours.

Another Finnish city that has invested heavily in the future of Finland’s casinos is the Arkipelag Hotel and Casino in Mariehamn. This beautiful casino is an all-inclusive environment where tourists can stay at the beautiful hotel, dine in the fine Arkipelag restaurant, and then have some fun at the slot machine or the poker table. The three gaming tables and the cozy 1,600 square foot gaming area allow tourists to play roulette and blackjack only minutes away from their hotel room.

The Arkipelag Hotel and Casino and the Grand Casino Helsinki show the potential of Finland’s casino industry. While these casinos are more diminutive than competitors in other countries, they make up for it with great service, comfortable surroundings, and great locations near other Finnish hot spots. Visitors who are passing through Mariehamn or Helsinki should consider adding these Finnish casinos to their itinerary when planning a trip.

Golfing Grannies

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

For the experienced golfer, playing a new golf course for the first time is always an exciting occasion. My three buddies and I arrived full of anticipation at the prospects of the challenging round ahead, but our euphoria turned to dismay when we saw the foursome that would be playing ahead of us - four very elderly women complete with saggy support hose covering the top of what looks like orthopedic golf shoes and shawls in case the temperature drops below ninety degrees.

My friends and I immediately begin pacing like caged tigers and go into our ‘woe is us’ routine.

“I can’t believe they are going to let them play in front of us!”

“They must have bussed them here from the nearest nursing home.”

Proper etiquette is important, nowhere more so than on the golf course. Golf etiquette requires that a golfer replace his divots, fix ball marks on the green and let a faster group play through.

Finally, one of my buddies can take it no longer and he boldly struts over to the four seniors and asks if we can play ahead of them. Mind you, they haven’t hit a shot yet. Three of the woman look angry, but the fourth just smiles, points her cane in our direction and suggests that maybe we should go ahead and let them begin and see if they slow us down.

The four geriatric seniors then proceed to play like the proverbial ‘bat out of hell.’ By the time we’ve hit our first shot, the women have disappeared from sight. Racing greyhounds couldn’t have kept up with those sprinting spinsters.

We spend the afternoon slicing from sand trap to water hazard to poison ivy patch. After a few holes there is a hole and a half gap between us and the octogenarians. We begin running from shot to shot and calling eight foot putts good and we still can’t gain on them.

By the time we drag ourselves in after finishing the round, the gap is so large between us and the nursing home patrons that they’ve had time to eat a three-course meal in the clubhouse lounge.

“How’d we do, sonny?” the woman with the cane calls out as she uses a napkin to daintily dab from her lips the last few crumbs of her dessert.

A Buddhist proverb on respecting your elders states, “If you want to know what lies on the road ahead, ask someone who’s already been there.” Maybe there is something we can learn from our senior citizens - like patience, proper etiquette and a better golf swing.

History of iGaming – Knowledge for Getting an Online Gambling Jobs

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

If you are interested in getting an online gambling job it’s important to understand the history of the industry.

In 1994 one of the first software development companies Microgaming was established following the Free Trade and Processing Zone Act in Antigua. The head start was useful & Microgaming gained a real competitive advantage in the technology behind online betting & casinos. However it took 2 years before Intercasino launched the first internet casino which could accept real money wagers in October of 1996.

It wasn’t long before the burgeoning business came under the scrutiny of the authorities in America when Jon Kyl attempted to introduce the Internet Gambling Prohibition Act which planned to make it illegal for any company to offer online gambling to any US citizen. However the bill failed to make it through congress but gave a glimpse of the industries strained relationship with the US authorities.

By 1999 there were already up to 700 online casinos offering online betting opportunities impressive given the slow uptake of the internet amongst the general public. It was also around this point the introduction of more sophisticated software from Boss Media allowed for multiplayer games with the ability for users to chat to each other. This new technology had a huge impact on the industry & really helped create an involving & social environment to gamble.

The following year was hugely significant as Cryptologic are listed on the NASDAQ exchange. The company who provided encrypted electronic payment technology were proving a success with both customers & investors. Also having plenty of success was a winner on The Sands of the Caribbean online casino won $400k at the date the largest online casino payout.

But by 2002 that had already seemed like a small win with a number of winners taking home more than a million dollars in online casino winnings. Inevitably these wins drew even more of attention from the US government who began creating a series of laws which would all but outlaw online gambling with a bill that prevented online gambling.

This gives you a basic introduction to some of the historical background to online gambling industry, the perfect foundation if you are looking to get an igaming job.

Small Non-Profits Working in the Nairobi Slums Making a Difference?

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

Many small organizations have volunteered to help out in the Nairobi Slums to help those in need, some of the poorest in Africa living under the worst conditions. One small group KENWA has helped 1743 children? Not just any children, orphans of HIV/AIDS victims.

That may seem like a lot but 1,743 is only the tiniest fraction of the total which was 14,000,000 in 2001, who knows what that number is today, orphans in need? It certainly is a great start and there are hundreds of such groups helping, but are they really making a dent? It obviously is not enough. It is not solving the problem or root cause, but it helps those individual children.

Helping the people in the Nairobi slums is a tricky business indeed and in some cases it may be causing more problems that it is helping. You see, there needs to be a total solution, not a band-aid. Unfortunately often the aid to the slums causes more people to show up for free services and help, expanding the slums and worsening the situation.

Some believe and have actually made statements that we need to cut Kenya off from all US Taxpayers money, as they say that the government is corrupt. In actuality it is perhaps less corrupt than other African Nations. Still we send $1.6 Billion in aid to Kenya and the slums are still there.

If we are to fix the slums or upgrade the living conditions there for those folks then we need to control that project, as they don’t seem care to care and have actually made statements in fact they do not even want the slums there, do not consider it their responsibility for these illegal settlements.

The humanitarian crisis goes on, something needs to be done. I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007. I thank you for reading my many articles on diverse subjects, which interest you.

Numerology’s Life Challenges - Problems and Inhibitions in Your Life

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

Numerology divides your life into three major stages or Life Cycles. Each of these cycles has a challenge tied to it; a personal problem or inhibition which must be faced and conquered. Want to know what your challenges are?

Calculating your Life Cycle Challenges

The timing of your Life Cycles is determined by your Life Path. Your first Life Cycle runs from birth to your first Turning Point which is calculated by subtracting your Life Path from 36 (four times nine). Your Second Life Cycle starts at that point and ends 27 years later (3 times 9). Your third and final Life Cycle begins at the end of your second life cycle and runs for the rest of your life.

Each Life Cycle Challenge number is calculated based on your date of Birth. Each element of your date of birth is first reduced to a single digit by fadic addition. Then these sums are used to find your challenge values.

Your first cycle challenge is determined by calculating the difference between your fadic birth month, and birth day. Your second cycle challenge is found by taking the difference between your fadic birth day and your birth year. Your third and final cycle challenge is found by taking the difference between your first and second challenge values.

For example, actor Johnny Depp was born on June 9th, 1963; so his Life cycle challenges are calculated as follows:

Life Path = (06 09 1963) = (1978) = (1 9 7 8) = (25) = (2 5) = (7)

Fadic Birthday Elements:

(Month) = (6), (Day) = (9), (Year) = (1963) = (1 9 6 3) = (19) = (1 9) = (10) = (1)

Life Cycle Challenges:

(First Life cycle ends) = (36 - 7) = age 29

(Second Life Cycle ends) = (29 27) = age 56

(First Challenge - birth to 29) = (Day - Month) = (9 - 6) = (3)

(Second Challenge - 29 to 56) = (Day - Year) = (9 - 1) = (8)

(Third challenge - 56 and up) = (First - Second) = (3 - 8) = (-5) = (5)

The various Life Cycle Challenge values and their meanings are shown below:
