UFO: A Bride for Bigfoot?

Saturday, May 31st, 2008

Xrytspet from Fanton in G10009845788899990766 dropped by with a friend. Xrytspet said, “This is Ezdolef from Lutcredra in G100469, one of the older galaxies and out of our neighborhood.”

I was shoveling the snow from my driveway at the time. I looked up at Ezdolef from Lutcredra in G100469 and about jumped out of my skin. I said, “I can’t believe it!”

Xrytspet said, “He does look like Phontos, the last Chican.”

Of course, Phontos is Big Foot and Big Foot is on the verge of extinction. I said, “Look, Ezdolef, can Lutcredras and Chicans breed?”

Xrytspet jumped in, “They can breed all they want if you mean copulate.”

I said, “Xrytspet, stay out of this. This could be very important.”

Ezdolef looked at me and said, “I know what you want but although we look similar, we are not similar biologically. No offspring would come from the union of a Chican and a Lutcredra.”

I was very disappointed. I looked down at the snow and resumed shoveling. Ezdolef blew on my driveway. The snow melted away instantly. He said, “I see you are disappointed. I could whip up a female Chican if you like. But how would you get her to Phontos?”

I said, “How would you ever do that? How long would it take?”

He said, “I can put an order in to Lutcredra in . Let’s see, we could have her back here in—“

Xrytspet broke out laughing. “Back where, Ezdolef?”

Ezdolef seemed to be embarrassed. He said, “Sorry to give you false hopes, Taylor Jones, the hack writer. I wasn’t thinking. This planet will have been sucked up in a supernova by the time my message would even get to Lutcredra in G100469.”

I said, “You made the snow disappear, Ezdolef.”

“Yes, but that was trivial. It’s harder to make a female Chican. I don’t have what I need. If I could get some of Phontos’ DNA, we might be able to pull a genetic switcheroo and create a female of that species. I’d have to think about it. I thought about it. Yes we can do it. Go get the DNA, Taylor Jones, the hack writer.”

Xrytspet dropped me off on a small island in the Florida Everglades.

Soon Phontos passed by chasing an airboat, scaring the hazelnuts out of a tourist sitting next to the driver.

Phontos returned to the island. We watched the airboat until it disappeared over the horizon. The noise was gone and we could talk. Phontos said, “That gets them every time and I get a bundle of bananas from Clyde.”

I said, “I guess Clyde owns the airboat and you’ve cut a deal with him. You scare the pants off the tourist and he gives you bananas. Don’t you think he is taking advantage of you? He’s probably making a bundle selling that ride with the possibility of seeing the Swam Ape.”

Phontos said, “Well, it gives me something to do and I love bananas. What would I do with money anyway, buy a yacht and sail to Fiji?”

“That’s one possibility,” I said.

Big Foot thought it over and said, “Nah! Maybe in a couple of years. Why are you here, Taylor Jones, the hack writer?”

“I’ve come to get a sample of your DNA. I’ve got some good news for you.”

Phontos said, “Forget it Taylor Jones, the hack writer. Xrytspet came around with that phony, Ezdolef, didn’t she?”

I could not tell a lie. I said, “Yes.”

“Ezdolef creates creatures in his laboratory near Newark and sells them as sideshow freaks.

“What did he tell you, that he was going to make me a mate?

“I can’t imagine what Xrytspet’s commission would be on that.”

There was nothing to do until Xrytspet returned to pick me up.

I sat a new record for me. I ate 17 bananas.

Marilyn Monroe and Mary Jo Kopechne

Saturday, May 31st, 2008

I doubt Marilyn Monroe was anything but a confused star-struck drug-using individual with some gifts and talents that the Kennedy boys enjoyed. But she may have been so obsessed with them that she would have threatened to tell some of what she knew and she did have the attention of the people and media. There was a general lack of knowledge about the nature of JFK’s drug use and sexual shenanigans even after his death. It would not surprise me if this was managed and agreed to, or asked for by the Kennedy clan. They still value their image even though Old Joe has been exposed on Arts & Entertainment. Maybe Maria Shriver and Arnold will make a run for the Presidency. It is important to note that Mary Jo Kopechne figures into the issue in a big way however. Maybe she intended to leak a lot more about the Kennedy clan.

“Smathers also betrayed JFK over Marilyn Monroe. According to Sarah Churchill’s recently published book, The Many Lives of Marilyn Monroe (2004), it was Smathers who first leaked the story to the press about the affair. The story first appeared in an article by Dorothy Kilgallen the day before Monroe died (Kilgallen was herself to die in similar circumstances as Monroe on 8th November, 1965).

Why should Smathers do this? One possibility is that Smathers was trying to link JFK with Monroe’s death. According to Matthew Smith’s Victim: The Secret Tapes of Marilyn Monroe (2003) the CIA was involved in a plot to implicate the Kennedys in Monroe’s death as punishment for the Bay of Pigs disaster.

If Smathers was involved in any conspiracy to kill JFK one would expect those close to him like Grant Stockdale {Mobbed-up vending-machine owner who was in a position to expose many things after JFK’s death and who was eliminated.} to find out about it. One person who might have discovered what was going on was his secretary, Mary Jo Kopechne, and her flat mate, Nancy Carole Tyler, who was Bobby Baker’s secretary. According to Penn Jones, it was Kopechne and Tyler who leaked the story about JFK replacing LBJ by Smathers as vice president. {I have no doubt about LBJ’s involvement in the assassination of JFK.}

Nancy Carole Tyler died in a plane crash, near Ocean City, Maryland, on 10th May, 1965.

Kopechne went on to become Robert Kennedy’s secretary. She was to die in Edward Kennedy’s car on 18th July, 1969.” (1)

4 8 15 16 23 42, Figure It Out Yet?

Saturday, May 31st, 2008

So have you figured out the significance of these numbers yet? It seems to be quite a difficult sequence to understand. I bet you have been racking your brain trying to figure it all out? Would you like to talk about all this once more?

Well let’s look at these numbers, did you notice that only one numeral is repeated and that the only numerals not represented are 0, 7 & 9? Did you know 7, 9 have significance? Did you know that those are part of a name of a New York PR firm? Did you know that the entire sequences was a UK lottery winning number with the last number transposed.

Had you considered that the complete sequence could be more than one set of different cycles running within the same sequence; like a sine or cosine or multi-wave deal? Can you understand this abstract type of visualization of that potential concept, as a wave intercepts the 4, 15, 23 and another intercepts the 8, 15 and 42 or something of that nature?

One thing I had considered was to take those numbers and plug them into a Mathematica (Stephen Wolfram Stuff) simple program. Then I took three-dimensional pyramid and came up with another set of numbers in the sequence, yet every 3rd number would be an X or Y, because you cannot know the answer. Where did this sequence come from anyway? Well they say that the original number I think was on a “stone in the water” on a reality TV Show you see?

Some say it merely has to do with the show, itself, and the contestants and episodes. But a studier of patterns and such, it was something to screw around with for an hour or two one night while surfing, what was you excuse? Consider all this in 2006.

Structure For Creativity

Saturday, May 31st, 2008

Creative people often gush about the need for freedom. We like to have free rein to allow our ideas to expand, develop and bloom. We chafe at perceived restrictions and revere poetic license. Our imaginations are like wide open fields, a rainbow of flowers to enjoy.

But in my work with artists, writers and business people, I have discovered that some structure is actually desired by people who make things up as part of their work. The format provided by structure can actually allow more freedom. I saw this when I taught a poetry in form class. The ‘rules’ given by a form such as a sestina or a pantoum provided walls for the creativity to push against, and for the inventiveness of the poet to be held.

If it is a secret that we creative people actually crave structure, it is no surprise that we aren’t masters of creating systems and following them. I’ve developed a few structures that give me added focus so that I can bring my ideas to fruition and completion. Here are a few of the things that have worked for me and for my clients.

Clipboard. This one is so simple it is almost silly. To-do lists, schedules, notes for articles are all worthless if they are tucked away somewhere. I put the things I need to do on a daily and weekly basis on a clipboard that sits on my desk. I can easily move to the couch to work and take the neat and organized pile with me. At the end of the week, I remove the things I have done and am ready to add the next week’s items. The clipboard also imbues me with an aura of authority. My cat is extra compliant when I strut around with the clipboard.

Colored pens. For those of us who still keep track of things on paper, and who have multiple roles, the colored pen system can be a godsend. At a glance, you can see what needs attending to and what can wait for later. This is especially good for people who have children and are responsible for many schedules.

Calendar. Speaking of schedules, if you want to make room and time for your creativity, you have to schedule it in first. Our art projects and creative passions get squeezed to the edges of our lives. If you put it in first, you are more likely to get to it. (You have to actually show up for it, not just schedule it in.) Fill in an entire month’s worth of creative time. Do it now. My novel writing time is Thursday afternoons. With this blocked out, I know not to schedule other appointments during that time. Seeing it on my calendar reminds me that this has a place in my life.

Connections. While you have your calendar out, make appointments with friends, colleagues or creative buddies. I have several partnerships that keep me on track with things that might otherwise slip through the cracks. Focused friendships are a great way to have supported structure.

Simple rules. Most of you are probably cringing at the word ‘rule’, but I have found that a few simple rules (I won’t say restriction, I promise!) help to keep me on track. One rule that I follow assiduously is the ‘no books on the desk’ rule. This may seem odd for a bibliophile, but I noticed that books on the desk seem like clutter to me. I get too distracted and want to read rather than write. When I get a book down to consult it, I immediately put it away when I am finished. This little rule keeps me sane.

The beloved notebook. Notebooks are second to books in my list of passions. I use notebooks to help keep track of my ideas, my notes, and my writings. I have a different notebook for different areas of my life, both personal and professional. This may seem excessive, but it helps me to stay focused.

What structures work for you? I hope these ideas have sparked an urge to give your creativity a contained space within which it can flourish. I challenge you to try one structure for three months. See how it works for you and what needs to be tweaked. Structure can be like a vase that holds a bouquet of flowers, providing form and beauty at the same time.

4 Necessary Steps You Should Take When Thinking About Getting A Tattoo!

Friday, May 30th, 2008

Obviously there is some concern about getting a tattoo because when you get a tattoo, you risk getting an infection, pain and wonder about the possibilities of infectious diseases. The process needs to be better understood.

1. Can I Get Infectious Diseases From Tattoo Needles?

There has been some concern recently regarding transmittable diseases particularly Hepatitis-B and AIDS HIV and tattoo shops. Just as in a dentist’s office, as long as the area is thoroughly sanitized, your chances for infection will be greatly reduced.

2. Can I Get Aids From Tattooing?

When needles are passed from IDU to IDU and reused without sterilization, some of that blood remains in the syringe and is passed on to the next user. If infected blood is passed, the recipient can become infected with HIV, which leads to AIDS.

Tattooing is VERY different from injecting drugs. The needles used in tattooing are not hollow. They do, however, travel back and forth through a hollow tube that acts as an ink reservoir. The tip of the tube is dipped into the ink, which draws a little into the tube.

3. Can My Tattoo’s Get Infected?

Not as long as you take care of your new tattoo. There is a section in the Ebook that covers healing methods in depth. Some people have trouble healing tattoos with colors they are allergic to.

4. What Are Some Bad Things For My New Tattoo?

Once it is healed, there is very little that will screw up a tattoo. The one exception is prolonged exposure to sunlight. The other is scarring, but that is patently obvious.

Well, unfortunately it is. The newer inks are better at resisting fading but whatever you do, if you spend lots of time in bright sunlight your tattoo’s will fade over a lifetime, not over a week. Best to try and keep them out of bright sunlight.

No one wants to become a cave dweller just to keep their tats looking good, so just use some common sense. Think of your tattoo as an investment slather on that sunblock so it doesn’t turn into a dark blob.

Tattoo art has become very popular and people are getting tattoo’s for lots of reasons. Taking good steps in choosing the right tattoo, getting it applied properly and with the proper care is probably the most important things to consider when thinking about getting a tattoo. Read all you can about tattoo art safety and when you′re ready to get your tattoo, you will feel much better about your decision!

Why Can’t I Win at Online Texas Holdem?

Friday, May 30th, 2008

How many times have you… said to yourself, “this has to be fixed.” More than a few? You might want to consider that your game isn′t as strong as you previously thought. In fact, it is quite possible that there is still a good deal of work to do.

You need to figure out whether or not you are playing to make money. That’s right! The evidence suggests that you are playing to play, not to make money.

Perhaps, you arbitrarily grab the first open seat and start blasting. This may accomodate your need for action and that’s great, however, since loss is not our objective we want to do something a little different.

We suggest that thoroughly scouting games at the desired level of play to be a preferred method. You are attempting to identify weakness in one form or another. Typically, you want to zero in on tight passives, calling stations and maniac play.

This is the internet and there is nothing preventing you from taking all the time you want in locating that soft seat.

Unlike the live brick and mortar rooms you are not stuck with whatever they give you.

You found the perfect seat for your style of play. There could be any number of reasons why that particular seat is open. You discover why soon enough.

The past twenty minutes has produced the coldest wave of cards in your entire playing history.

Do you press? Do you play those marginal and rag starters?

Of course not! You get out of there! There’s dozens of games to choose from. For that matter go open another account at another site. Give yourself an even wider selection. There is absolutely no rule that requires that you sit there and get your brains beat in.

You like to see a lot of flops. On the internet this approach is a real cash killer.

We have found that a range of 30-33% seen flops from all positions combined is about right. There is no hard and fast rule here, but evidence suggests seeing a greater number of flops to be from players who tend to rely more on luck.

Speed is a factor. Don’t kid yourself. These hands are being dealt at a very rapid clip.

As a general rule you will be dealt approximately twice as many hands on the internet in the same time frame compared to a regular brick and mortar card room. What this means is that your errors translate into cash losses at an accelerated clip. This is the greatest argument for playing premium starting hands.

It has been said, “that the next best thing to playing and winning is playing and losing.”

Although mildly amusing, the statement contains nothing but an attitude that places your finger squarely
on the self destruct button.

Do you increase your bankroll threefold or more only to blow it back along with your original stake? I have no problem leaving the table with a double or triple. You shouldn’t either.

I have heard the professionals discuss this subject repeatedly. Apparently the conventional wisdom supports continued play as long as you continue to play well.

We disagree with this position for one main reason. This is a classic apples to oranges comparison in our view. First of all they are world class professionals playing live with advanced skill sets. You are trying to survive for the chance to win in an entirely different venue.

Don’t be in a hurry! There is always a game somewhere. Like the ads point out, non-stop action. If it’s money you want you will need to play emphasizing discipline and focus.

Don′t make it so hard on yourself. Life already has plenty of challenges. Do the scouting. Pick your spots and don′t force it. Put these practices into play now and you will see vast improvement.

Time Travel, Is It Possible?

Friday, May 30th, 2008

Time travel- is it possible? Has it been done before?

Since the dawn of history, the mystery of time has been contemplated by the greatest minds of mankind. They have explored this paradoxical force that surrounds all of God’s creations to what end?

What is time? Is time merely a mathematical division of twenty-four hours? Seconds to minutes to hours to days to weeks, months and years….flowing on and on endlessly into the realm of eternity? Seemingly without beginning or end, it flows without cease….void of shape or substance, unable to be harnessed or controlled? Or can it be?

Einstein hypothesized that for man to travel time he would have to surpass light speed. In order to surpass light speed, mass or more simply the physical, would expand exponentially and proportionately, as the threshold of light speed was approached. This would make it both theoretically and dynamically impossible to achieve.

The velocity to push matter to the speed of light would destroy the matter or mass in question. Nothing living in the physical world could survive the transition into hyper dimensional states.

Now to the second question: Has Time travel been done before? The answer is yes.

The most ready example is easily found, but not in the physical state. The Book of Revelation finds the Prophet John being transported into the future. He not only views events but actually takes part in the events themselves.

What theologians thought delusional (the Book of Revelation) technology has now made commonplace. Clearly John was describing modern technology (modern warfare) in terms of what he knew in his day.

God has given man the tool to travel time in spirit, an immortal soul. The knowledge of how-to remains locked inside His instruction manual, the Bible, where it has been for thousands of years!

R. Thomas is the author of Seven-Thunders, the first of a trilogy of fiction books dealing with spiritual warfare and the realization of God’s prophesy.

Online Casino Sign-Up Bonus and Match Bonuses - Easy Way to Lose Your Money

Friday, May 30th, 2008

Online casinos have many ways to “trick you” into gambling. One of the most common ways is offering casino bonuses, which can be divided into several categories. Let’s talk about match bonuses (or online casino sign-up bonuses) today, as it’s the most common online casino bonus.

Match bonuses are often seemingly big in numbers (sign-up bonus as big as $3000 is not a rare thing to see nowadays). Many of these bonuses are very tricky, making withdrawing your winnings as hard as possible. Several players have quit playing at those casinos after they’ve understood that there’s no easy way to gain profit with this bonus. They feel that they’ve been tricked. Hell yeah, I can′t blame them!

Some of these match bonuses really are absurd. Even though, players in these days are not retarded - many of them know that the $888 “free money″ means cosmic deposits and serious betting activity with real money, leading us to a fact that in the end you’re probably back to ZERO, angry and have no plans to return there.

Online casinos and poker rooms are extremely cautious giving bonuses away. Usually you as a player are not allowed to play blackjack, roulette and craps with your bonus money. And often you can’t withdraw your winnings if you have less than 10x bonus gathered on your casino account. My personal best has been 134 dollars with $16 dollars no deposit bonus money… of course, I gambled it down to zero. I was 26 bucks short to withdraw.

Some casinos (not the ones I prefer!) can afford those high bonuses only because they have low payouts. Not many online gamblers look at payouts when choosing a casino, so beware!

In some cases match bonuses can be used against casinos, but be sure to learn the rules before you start any monkeygambling.

Many people are concerned about legal implications of music downloads because of recently news reports about illegal downloads. However with underground sites the songs are perfectly legal and made available to all.
